I have entered Transfers to replace Deposits and can no longer see the entry in my register. I have searched and found my recent entries with correct dates/accounts.

I have entered Transfers to replace Deposits and can no longer see the entry in my register. I have searched and found my recent entries with correct dates/accounts.

You can open the Transaction Detail by Account report to locate your transfer transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I'll guide you with the steps.

 

  1. Click on Reports at the left pane, then look for Transaction Detail by Account.
  2. Open the report, then filter the dates (you may choose All review all of your transactions).
  3. Locate the transfer entries from there.

 

If the transfer transactions are missing from your report, you can proceed with checking the Audit Log history. From there, you can see of the transactions were deleted or removed from your QuickBooks.

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then tap on Audit Log under Tools.
  2. Make the necessary filter, then look for possible activities of the transfer entries.
  3. If it was deleted, recreate the transactions.
