I have received a payment that is sitting in undeposited funds. How do I get it into my account?

It's great to see you here in the Community, @alyshabowers6-gm. QuickBooks Online (QBO) puts your deposit in a temporary account called Undeposited Funds. This is to hold payments received from invoices before transferring them to your bank.

I've got you the steps to move it from the undeposited funds to your preferred bank account.

Here's how:

  1. Select the +New button, then click Bank Deposit.
  2. From the Account drop-down arrow, choose the bank account you're depositing the money to.
  3. You'll see all the transactions under the Undeposited funds account in the Select the payments included in this deposit section. It also matches the balance you've seen in your Chart of Accounts.
  4. Put a checkmark in the box beside the transaction to move them to your desired account.
  5. Hit Save and close when done.

Hi alyshabowers6-gm

Hope you’re doing great. I wanted to see how everything is going about moving transactions from undeposited funds to your account concern you had yesterday. Was it resolved?

Do you need any additional help or clarification? If you do, just let me know. I’d be happy to help you at any time.

Looking forward to your reply. Have a pleasant day ahead!
