A mismatch of balances between your bank and QuickBooks happens due to the following reasons.
- Outstanding transactions
- New transactions for a connected account
- Duplicate transactions
- Edited or deleted transactions
- Credit card (liability) account
At this time, you need to verify the main cause of their difference to fix them accordingly. You can either do the following:
- Delete any duplicate entries.
- Recover any deleted or modified transactions.
- Review unreconciled transactions from your register
