I have Reconciled my accounts and everything is good but my bank balance and quickbooks balance do not match. How do I get them to match?

I have Reconciled my accounts and everything is good but my bank balance and quickbooks balance do not match. How do I get them to match?

I'm here to help you with fixing your account's balances.

 

A mismatch of balances between your bank and QuickBooks happens due to the following reasons.

 

  • Outstanding transactions
  • New transactions for a connected account
  • Duplicate transactions
  • Edited or deleted transactions
  • Credit card (liability) account

 

At this time, you need to verify the main cause of their difference to fix them accordingly. You can either do the following:

 

  • Delete any duplicate entries.
  • Recover any deleted or modified transactions.
  • Review unreconciled transactions from your register
