I haven't been able to import data from Capital One for 50 days. What's going on?

Hello @jr-schwartz, thank you for bringing this up in the community. When you attempt to sync with your bank, are you getting any errors? This will help me determine if this is a known issue or not. 

Here is an article to help with manually adding those transactions into your account while we figure this out: Import bank transactions using Excel CSV files.


It's also beneficial to go through some browser troubleshooting as well. Let's start with these steps:

  1. Log directly into Capital One's banking page and make sure there are no prompts/messages on the transactions page for you.
  2. Clear cache in your browser: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.
  3. Login to Quickbooks account through an incognito/private mode and try to sync your bank.

Lastly, let's try to disconnect and reconnect the bank:

  1. In QuickBooks go to Banking and select the affected bank account
  2. Select the Edit ✎ icon to the right of the bank name and select Edit account Info
  3. In the Account box, scroll to the bottom and check Disconnect this account on save
  4. Save and Close

Reconnect the account:

  1. Go to your bank's website and navigate to the point where you enter your login credentials
  2. Copy the address at the top of the page (starts with http), by highlighting the entire address and pressing Ctrl+C
  3. In QuickBooks, go to Banking and select Add account
  4. In the 'Enter your bank name or URL' field, paste the address copied in step 2 (above), press Enter, and try connecting again
