Before proceeding, it's important to note that the range of transaction history you can download varies by bank. Some offer the last 90 days of transactions, while others may offer up to 24 months.

 

Here's how to link your bank account to QBO:

 

  1. Go to the Transactions menu and select the Bank Transactions tab.
  2. Click on Link Account next to the Banking Alerts tab
  3. Enter your bank’s URL or name in the Search field, then select your bank.
  4. Enter your banking login credentials in the Login and Password fields and click Continue.
  5. Choose the bank account, set the starting date for transactions, and click Next.
  6. Using the Account type dropdown, choose the accurate type for your account, and then select Next.
  7. Match the bank account to an existing QuickBooks account and click Next.
  8. Click Connect and then Done to complete the process.
