Join nowI think you should be given the option of whether you want to pay for this or not. Very dissatisfied with this! More and more fees......
Explore these free apps to accept ACH payments for free and integrate them with your QBO account.

Thanks for the suggested apps to try with QB.
I am seeing that there still is a charge -
Veem $20 flat fee
Melio unlimited $20 - I am assuming that both of these apps are free however there is a monthly fee for both at $20 per month.
Correct me if I am wrong.
1% fee with a max of $20 is an option if you need to activate the instant deposit feature.

I don't find any other pricing but credit card charges to customers for Melio

Why are these big companies always so greedy? Are they so dumb at investing that they can't use our ACH deposits for 5 days and make a profit? Sounds like a QB management problem not a problem of mine or something I should make my customers pay for. Anybody have experience with other programs we can switch to entirely and not give QB any of our money?

There are many options in the market to explore including the free accounting app. Yet they will charge for something either related to invoice payment or payroll service. Contact us in private to purchase a 3rd party conversion service.
Why are you forcing this on people? Especially on those of us who don't want it. My clients were trying to save money by using this feature. In fact I was telling them how nice it was. We understood the amount of time (5-7 days) it takes and accepted it.
Now you spring this on us. Yeah, I'm sure I can find another way to receive payments for free, but again, why did you need to do this? I'm really disappointed.
Previously it was an option to have and pay for the 1-2 day deposit time and that was acceptable. You shouldn't force it on everyone!
I wish I could make it better, @AcctsBalanced.
As of the moment, there isn't an integrated way to option out and not to use the deposit plan in accepting ACH payments from your customers.
With this, I'd recommend letting our product developers know about your request by following the steps below:

They are just the last one to follow the market. I noticed no accounting app offers ACH payment for free any longer. If you are running a B2C operation, you should explore what your bank can offer. Wise offers ACH payment for free (2-3 days) and wire payment for $7,5 per transaction (< 12 hours).

Otherwise, consider a payment processor to integrate with your QBO. One app offers $0.65 + 0.2% to integrate with your QBO invoice.
