I just successfully converted my 1st QB online file back to desktop as it was converted to Online without my permission. I can't convert my 2nd QB file conversion?

I used the Data Migration Tool this morning and converted one of my QB online files back to desktop; however, my 2nd file says that Intuit will email me once the data has been convereted but I have not received a reply since last Friday.  I tried doing it again but no response.  I called Intuit and was on the phone for 2 hours today only to hear the tech say that they have 'stopped' converting back to Desktop and referred me to a 3rd party vendor.  I showed the tech the email that shows my 1st QB online file successfully converted but no response.
Anyone know what is going on?

We appreciate you informing us of your current situation, @hk25. We'll share details about converting data from QuickBooks Online (QBO) to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to help you get through this and get back to QBDT.

Since Microsoft discontinued supporting Internet Explorer with the Active X feature, your data will take a while to transport from QBO to QBDT. You can start with gathering all the needed files like reports, vendors, products and services, and more. We'll gladly outline the steps below:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. On the left navigational bar, click the Reports tab.
  3. Search for and open an Account List, Customer Contact List, or Vendor Contact List.
  4. On the report, select Customize.
  5. Select Rows and Columns and then Change columns.
  6. Select and reorder columns.

For further guidelines, please see this handy article: Move lists and balances from QuickBooks Online to QuickBooks Desktop.

An important thing to note when converting or migrating from QBO to QBDT, all your data gets migrated to the other program in a single transfer only. Also, please be aware that the option to do it slowly or gradually is not recommended. Please see this page for more information: Move your QuickBooks Online data to QuickBooks Desktop.

If you converted some of your data and some didn't carry over or migrated, you can utilize a third-party application to help you get through this. Feel free to visit our official app store to look for a program that can provide your business needs:  https://desktop.apps.com/home

On the other hand, if you wish to secure a copy of your QBO data. You can check this article for more details: Back up and restore your QuickBooks Online Advanced Company.

We encourage you to visit the Community space if you have further questions or need assistance handling and transferring your data from one program to another. Our team will be around to help you out again anytime. Keep safe.

@hk25

referred me to a 3rd party vendor.

Which 3rd party vendor did they refer to?
