We appreciate you informing us of your current situation,
@hk25. We'll share details about converting data from QuickBooks Online (QBO) to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to help you get through this and get back to QBDT.
Since Microsoft discontinued supporting Internet Explorer with the Active X feature, your data will take a while to transport from QBO to QBDT. You can start with gathering all the needed files like reports, vendors, products and services, and more. We'll gladly outline the steps below:
- Access your QuickBooks Online company.
- On the left navigational bar, click the Reports tab.
- Search for and open an Account List, Customer Contact List, or Vendor Contact List.
- On the report, select Customize.
- Select Rows and Columns and then Change columns.
- Select and reorder columns.
An important thing to note when converting or migrating from QBO to QBDT, all your data gets migrated to the other program in a single transfer only. Also, please be aware that the option to do it slowly or gradually is not recommended. Please see this page for more information:

If you converted some of your data and some didn't carry over or migrated, you can utilize a third-party application to help you get through this. Feel free to visit our official app store to look for a program that can provide your business needs:
