In QuickBooks Solopreneur, the system is designed to automatically categorize downloaded transactions. If the category does not match to the appropriate transaction, we can manually changed it.
 

Here's how: 
 

  1. Go to the Transactions menu, then Bank transactions.
  2. Please review your downloaded transactions for accuracy. 
  3. For any transactions with the wrong or no category, select the Pencil icon to Edit transaction.
  4. On the Category drop-down, choose the one that best describes the reason for the transaction.
