10-12 days sounds like longer than normal. Your ACH payments should generally take 5 business days to reach you. If the weekend falls during that time frame, that may increase the time as the weekends are not considered business days by the bank. For example, if an ACH is processed on a Wednesday, 5 business days would put the deposit at the following Wednesday.
However, there may be other reasons that transactions may take longer; for example, suddenly processing $20K in one month when a customer had processed $2K may trigger a risk review, where we will hold funds while we review those transactions. Once those transactions pass review, the are generally released in 24-48 hours (again, it may be longer; this is a case-by-case basis). With those cases, you will receive emails with details about those transactions.
If your payments are consistently taking 10-12 days to deposit to your account, you may want to reach out to the support team to look into why: Payments support
Next day deposits is a functionality we have been releasing to customers on a company by company basis, as there are several factors involved (length of time with Intuit, how much processing is done, amount of processing, etc.). We are currently working on moving eligible QuickBooks Online accounts to faster funding. Unfortunately, I don't have any information on when that functionality will be available for QuickBooks Self-Employed, but we will be notifying customers when/if it becomes available.
