I'm glad to see the Paypal "register" back on the Bank Transactions tab. But it's not correct. The bank balance says updated on 3/1/2025, and is not the balance.

also, two transactions dated 3/1 are showing to be reviewed, but they are already in my register.

The inaccuracy of your PayPal bank balance and in QuickBooks could be due to the duplicate transactions, Robert.

To verify this, double-check your bank statement and compare it with your entries in QuickBooks. Once confirmed, exclude the duplicate entries from the Transactions menu.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu, then the App transactions tab.
  2. Choose your PayPal account.
  3. Locate the duplicate entries and tick their designated Box icon.
  4. Click the Exclude button or select the Exclude option from the Batch actions dropdown list.

Excluding duplicate transactions prevents them from being posted in your actual financial records in QuickBooks.

For more information on managing your PayPal transactions on the platform, check out this link: Use the Connect to PayPal app with QuickBooks Online.

It's also advisable to reconcile your account regularly. Doing so ensures the accuracy of your data in the platform for precise financial reporting.
