I'm here to help you link your PNC Credit Card to QuickBooks Online, lou-sigillo.

There are ongoing issues with PNC bank. May I know what specific error are you getting when you try to link your credit card account?

Furthermore, let's try some steps to help resolve this issue. You can try logging in to your bank's website. If so, copy the bank's URL to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

Here' s how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu or Transactions menu.
  2. Click Connect Account on the landing page, or select Add account or Link account if you've already created an account.
  3. Paste your bank's online banking URL, press enter, and try connecting again.

If you're still unable to connect to your bank, I recommend updating your bank manually to refresh the connection between QuickBooks and your financial institution.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking tab.
  2. Select the blue tile at the top for the bank account you want to update.
  3. Click the Update button. If you see a message about additional authentication, follow the on-screen instructions. Not all banks require this, but some do for added peace of mind.

However, if you still encounter issues, I suggest contacting our support team so they can investigate this further and what is really happening. They also have the tools to pull up your account in a secure environment.

Also, QuickBooks automatically downloads your recent transactions once you connect your bank account. For your future reference, you'll want to categorize and match bank transactions.

Keep me posted if you have any other questions about connecting your bank. I'll be right here in case you need further assistance.

None of that worked, it keeps pushing to a preset PNC Bank URL and now what I need.

Hello,

I am having this same issue, it appears the problem has not been addressed.  I just tried to have Quickbooks online help desk work through this issue and insist the issue is the bank.  But it is the URL link that is the problem.  Quickbooks will not allow me to enter the URL.

@Sara1975

Utilize the trial version of MT Online to isolate the issue. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online, so there is no specific setting needed. If the same error persists, there is an ongoing problem at your bank or connection.
