With QuickBooks Online, it's best to connect your bank accounts using a web browser through laptops or computers. It is to ensure that you have selected the right financial institution (FI).

 

Let me give you the steps on how to connect your bank account:

  1. Go to Banking and then select Banking.
  2. Click Add account or Connect account if you're new.
  3. Enter your bank name or URL (you can go to your Online Banking website to copy the URL).
  4. Select Continue and the n provide the credentials needed and then follow the on screen instructions.
  5. Select the Account Type from the drop-down. The account is seen in your chart of accounts.
  6. Select the date range of the transactions you want to download.
  7. Click Connect.

There you can connect your banking to QuickBooks Online seamlessly.
