I'm trying to import data from my old Quicken desktop program (2007) to Quickbooks online. I cannot save it as a .csv file, it only lets me save as a QIF file.

I recognized the importance in importing your Quicken file to QuickBooks Online (QBO), @davechristensen1.

Since you’re unable to convert your quicken data into a .csv file, I recommend contacting the Quicken support team to further assist you.

From there, they can check your account securely and perform some additional steps in converting your data into a .csv file.

I'm adding this article for reference in converting your Quicken file: Convert a Quicken file into a QuickBooks Online company file.

You can also check this article to learn what data doesn’t convert you migrate to QuickBooks Online (QBO): What to expect when you switch from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.

Once you’re all set up, I’ve added some of our useful links that you can check to learn some tips in navigating your QBO account effectively:

Don’t hesitate to tag me if you have other concerns or questions in managing your QBO account. I’m willing to help you anytime. Have a great day!
