Hi there, Mark.

Let's connect your bank account to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account using the alternative way.

If you have only turned off your bank on the Manage Accounts page, you can turn it on and click the Refresh All button to sync in new transactions. However, if you have disconnected your bank from QBSE, you'll need to connect it again, even if it still appears greyed out. Connect it either through the Manage Accounts page or from the gear icon, then click Connect account.

If you can't reconnect your account due to the greyed-out bank issue, I recommend troubleshooting your browser to ensure QBSE works efficiently. Here's how:

  1. Restart your browser.
  2. Clear your browser's cache.
  3. Add Intuit as a trusted site.

After that, disconnect your bank again, then reconnect. Then, start categorizing your transactions.

Feel free to leave a reply if you have additional questions about QBSE. We're always ready to help.
