I need to verify a test debit amount that Quickbooks made. But my bank is often so slow to show transactions. How soon should I verify the amount in quickbooks?

This is just the place to get the answers you're looking for, @userlp-!

You can confirm the amount in QuickBooks at your convenience. Just make sure the amounts are correct when verifying the test transaction, as shown on your bank statement.

Let me walk you through the steps:

  1. From the left menu, select Workers.
  2. Click the Employees.
  3. Select Finish payroll tasks on the main Employees page.
  4. Click Verify the test deposit now.
  5. Enter the test transaction amount in both boxes (less than $1.00). Enter the pennies only, without a dollar sign or decimal point.
  6. Click OK

However, you only get one attempt to verify your test debits. If you aren't successful, you can contact our Payroll Support for assistance.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Click the (?) Help icon in the upper right-hand corner of the Dashboard.
  3. From there, select the Contact Us button.
  4. Enter your concern in the description box and click Let's talk.
  5. Choose either Start a chat or Get a callback.
