Can you share more details about the results when fixing the transaction? Any information you can add will help ensure a timely solution on this.
If the transaction is posted incorrectly and you're unable to locate it, I suggest running the Audit Trail report. By doing so, we'll be able to find the transaction and determine which account it's stored.
Open QuickBooks Desktop.
Click the Reports tab at the top menu bar and hover your cursor to Accountant & Taxes.
