Hey, eagost.

Welcome to the Community. I'd be glad to show you how to delete the wrong bank account that was downloaded.

There are just a few steps to delete an unwanted bank account in QuickBooks Online. Here's how:

1. Click the Gear icon in the top right corner.

2. Select Chart of Accounts.

3. Locate the account to delete in the list.

4. Select Delete from the Action drop-down.

5. Confirm that you'd like to delete the account.

There is no "Delete" option in the drop down menu in the Chart of Accounts.

Thanks for letting us know about this, @jayghosh. I'll be delighted to share some insights about your concern.

Since the option to delete an account in the Chart of accounts is unavailable, you can consider making the account Inactive. When  you make an account inactive, the account will no longer appear in the list  of accounts in your chart of accounts but this doesn't mean it has been deleted. To begin, these are the steps:

  1. Go to the Gear icon in the upper right corner.
  2. Select Chart of Accounts under Your Company column.
  3. Locate the account to make it inactive in the list.
  4. Click the drop down button beside the account and then select Inactive.
  5. Then click Yes.
