You'll have to manually upload your bank transactions to keep your financial data updated for the whole year, knjtanner. I'm here to guide you through the process.
When you connect your bank and credit card accounts, some will let you download the last 90 days of transactions and others can go back as far as 24 months. In your case, you're only provided the last 90 days, which is why you're only seeing entries from mid-June onward.
To complete your data from January to mid-June, 2024, you'll have to upload your transactions manually. Start by identifying the oldest existing one currently in the account to avoid duplicates. Here's how:
After that, get the transactions from your bank and review the file. Then, go ahead and upload them to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. For the Step-by-step guide, please see this article: Transfer file into QuickBooks Online.
Once you obtain all your bank records, review and categorize them. Then, reconcile your accounts so they always match your monthly statements.
