I want to delete my quickbooks account

Hi, rodriguezarlee.

 

I can help you with canceling your QuickBooks Accountant Online. You can cancel your account through the Billing & Subscription page.

 

Once canceled, your account will be available in read-only access for one year from the cancellation date. After a year your account will no longer be accessible.

 

To cancel, here's how:

 

  1. Select Settings ⚙ and then Account and Settings.
  2. Select the Billing and subscription tab.
  3. In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel subscription or Cancel online.
  4. Select Continue to cancel, then select Continue to cancel again (if applicable).
  5. Follow the next steps.
  6. Select Submit and cancel subscription.
  7. Select Got it.

I want to delete my quickbooks account

This did not help me. I didn't have the options listed so I could not go and delete an inactive account. I have the accountant account that I don't ever use and never set up that a pay for monthly, that I want to delete. I use the self-employed account, which isn't working today, for my business purposes that I pay for monthly as well. I would like to delete the one so that I'm not paying for both.

I'm happy to help you, if you're looking to cancel your subscription follow these steps. 

 

Cancel on a web browser:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  2. Go to Settings ⚙ beside the help icon.
  3. Select Billing Info, then Cancel subscription. If you change your mind, you can select Keep your subscription.

Cancel on iOS (iPhone or iPad):

  1. Open the QuickBooks Self-Employed app.
  2. Sign in to your QuickBooks account.
  3. Tap the Profile icon, then Settings.
  4. Tap Subscription, then Cancel or manage your subscription here.

Cancel on Android:

  1. Open the QuickBooks Self-Employed app.
  2. Sign in to your QuickBooks account.
  3. Tap the Profile icon, then Subscription.
  4. Tap Cancel or manage your subscription here.
