If I linked credit card accounts to my QB account but can't seem to make it bring in the transactions for those accounts for the past two years. Am I missing something?

When i linked my bank accounts, it asked me about which transactions and I put in dates and it pulled them in. Is this a system thing or did I do something wrong? I remember it asking me the dates and I put in 01/01/2019 but the transactions aren't there. (they're not under "for review, categorized, nor excluded" either.

Thanks for posting here about your bank feeds concern, @usermelissa1,

When you connect your account for online banking in QuickBooks, the system automatically downloads transactions up to a certain date. Some banks let you download the last 90 days of transactions. Others can go back as far as 24 months.

You may check your bank for more information on how they handle third-party bank connections.

In the meantime, you can try using the Update option to retrieve transactions that were missed during the initial connection. Here's how:

  1. From the left toolbar, select the Banking menu and tap the Banking tab.
  2. Click to highlight the account you're updating, then hit the Update button.

If it doesn't work, it's likely that your bank has a limitation with older information they share with QuickBooks. For this, you may upload the missing transactions manually using a CSV file. The following steps will guide you through the process:

  1. Still from the Banking menu, click the Link Account drop-down.
  2. Click on Upload from file from the options.
  3. Press Browse and choose the file you want to upload.
  4. Choose an account from the list, then Next.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to map the fields.
  6. Select the transactions to import.
  7. Click Yes then Let’s go.
