Import bank account statements

when importing a bank statement for a German company, any figures with a value greater than 100 are not recognised on the upload. In QBO it rounds up the numbers by a thousand.

Any ideas how to correct this

Import bank account statements

Welcome to the Community, @mohammed2. I'd be glad to help with importing bank account statements.

Just to clarify, are you using an Excel CSV file to import transactions into the German company? If so, there are certain formatting requirements for a successful import of bank transactions. One of these requirements is to not use commas to separate thousands, which should the file contain them, would explain why figures greater than 100 are not recognized. Additionally, many countries use a comma to indicate the decimal place, which could cause numbers to be rounded up by a thousand.

I'd recommend reviewing the file in Excel and making any necessary formatting revisions. I'm including an article with additional insight into these requirements: How to Import Bank Transactions Using Excel CSV Files.

This resource is a great place to start when encountering issues with importing a bank statement.

I'm just a few clicks away if you should have any questions about this or anything else. Hoping this response finds you with a smile.
