Import Check Images from Bank

When QB imports check transactions from the bank it's connected to, it doesn't show the image. Is there any way to import the image as well as the amount?

Import Check Images from Bank

Hello, @saara.

Allow me to share some information about importing transactions to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

As of now, we can import check but we can't import the images included from that specific check. However, we can manually add the image as an attachment.

Attachments can be added to bills, checks, credit card, credit memo, customers, delayed charge, estimates/quotes, expenses, invoices, receive payments, refund receipt, sales receipt, vendors, and vendor credit. To protect the security of your QuickBooks, the file types you can attach are limited to .PDF, .JPEG, .PNG, .DOC, .XLSX, .CSV, .TIFF, .GIF, and .XML.

For additional reference on how to attach a document in QBO, please check this article: Attachments in QuickBooks Online.

If you think the option of importing check transactions with images is what you need for your business, you may send your product suggestions straight to our product engineers for future updates. To send your feedback/product suggestions:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Share you suggestions/feedback under the Feedback page.
  4. Click Next and send the message.

We value your feedback and want your voice to be heard by addressing your concerns.

Feel free to post again if you have any other questions about importing transactions to QBO. Have a good day!
