Imported transactions don't show up

Hi accounting31,

How are the transactions imported? Is it through banking? If so, you'll want to update your bank manually first.

Here's how:

  1. Click Banking, and then Banking at the top.
  2. Click Update.

If the update doesn't work, please contact your bank to check if they are running a maintenance update.

If you're importing a transaction using the CSV files, you'll want to make sure that they are the correct format. Please refer to this article for details:

How to import bank transactions using Excel CSV files.

You can always swing by if you have more questions.

Imported transactions don't show up

Good morning.

I've had this issue for a while.  Just upgraded to QB2019 desk top for Mac.  I download QB files from my institution and then use the "Import QB files" in the downloaded transaction window.  I receive a message that a number of transaction were imported successfully.  Bu there's nothing in my transaction window.  I do not see an "Update" button in the banking window.

My credit card transactions do import correctly.  Do you have any advice?

Thank you in advance.

Roger

Imported transactions don't show up

Hi there, Vtroger.

Welcome to the Community. Allow me help bring in your bank transactions into QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.

The steps provided by my peer, ShiellaGraceA, is for the QuickBooks Online version (QBO).

With your issue, there aren't currently any related cases where nothing is downloaded after importing bank transactions. Let's manually download your transactions by following these steps:

  1. Go to Banking.
  2. Select Downloaded Transactions.
  3. On the Downloaded Transactions page, select the account you want to download.
  4. Click on Download. If you’re using Direct Connect, QuickBooks downloads transactions directly from the account at your Financial Institution.

If the same problem persists, I recommend following the detailed steps in this article: Nothing imported after importing a Web Connect (.qbo) file.

From there, you should be able to bring in your bank transactions into QuickBooks.

Please let me know how this goes by leaving a comment below. I'm always here to help. Have a great day.
