Join nowHi all, I'm currently using QB desktop 2019. I've typically upgraded before the product sunsets every 3 years. It does seem not that future QBDT version are requiring frequent access to the internet - and that will no longer work for me as I travel a lot sometimes without internet access. This was the main advantage of the desktop version. If it's no longer there, we'll need to either use the current version in sunset or migrate to a new platform. 2019 is likely the last version we'll purchase.
My question involves importing bank and CC transactions. This is the only "online" service we use in the desktop program that I believe will be disabled after sunset. It is my understanding that 3rd party importers and IIf imports DO continue without being disabled. (I am aware of the tech-support menu IIf transaction import option)
Can anyone recommend a 3rd party importer that I can use to replace the bank-feeds import? We typically used QBO files, however my bank provides excel and CSV files as well. We are looking at Transaction Importer Pro as an alternative. Are there any others? What about something that converts bank transactions to IIf?
Appreciate any suggestions or guidance.
Yes, you can use our BRC IIF Transaction Creator to import bank and credit card transactions using an IIF file. It will convert an Excel worksheet listing your transactions for import and will likely work with your bank's CSV file, opened in Excel, without too much editing.
