Invoice payments with Zelle and CashApp.

Let's match your downloaded transactions with your invoices. This links the Zelle and Cash App payments to the paid invoices to avoid any duplicates.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Transactions or Banking menu, then select Banking.
2. Choose the account and the payment.
3. On the For Review tab, click the transaction to expand the view. 
4. Select the Find Match radio-button and then click the Find match green button.
5. In the Match transactions window, select the date range to see the invoice you created. 
6. Select the Invoice and review the transactions.
7. Click on Save, once done.

Aside from matching your bank transactions, you can also split transactions between multiple accounts.

In addition, you may want to consider reconciling your account to match your bank and credit card statements.

In addition to what our AllStar and my colleague shared, you can match the payment to an invoice in the Match transactions window. Just make sure that the received payment is the same as the total invoice amount. This way, QuickBooks will automatically suggest it as a match.

I'll show you how:

1. From the Transactions menu, click Banking.
2. Select the bank and the payment.
3. Click the Find match radio button and select the Find match green button.
4. In the Match transactions window, select the date range to include the invoice you created. 
5. Select the Invoice and review the total amount matched. 
6. Click Save. 

If you're trying to match one invoice with multiple payments, you'll have to manually match each payment until the invoice open balance is zero. When you open the invoice, you can see all linked payments to it.
