Join nowGood day all. I'm a new lawn care business owner. I have QBO and basically have no idea what i'm doing.
I was using Yardbooks lawncare software but they dont have the ability to Sync with QB. So, I found myself re-creating all my invoices in QBO.
The issue i'm having is this.....Once i've downloaded the banking transactions into QB, what do I do next to categorize and match the Zelle and Cash App payments to the paid invoices?
Am I supposed to select "bank transfer" on the customer invoices in order for it to match the Zelle / Cash App transfer? I've been at this for 4 hours now without any success. Please help!
Chryl
Good day, @Greener Future Lawn Care.
Let's match your downloaded transactions with your invoices. This links the Zelle and Cash App payments to the paid invoices to avoid any duplicates.
Here's how:
Aside from matching your bank transactions, you can also split transactions between multiple accounts.
In addition, you may want to consider reconciling your account to match your bank and credit card statements.
Leave me a comment below if you have additional banking questions, @Greener Future Lawn Care. I'll be around to help. Have a great day!
I've followed the steps but this is what pops up when I select a transaction. please help
I've added the other screen shots and the actual invoice itself.
Thanks

Have you try this referance?
Hello there, Chryl.
In addition to what our AllStar and my colleague shared, you can match the payment to an invoice in the Match transactions window. Just make sure that the received payment is the same as the total invoice amount. This way, QuickBooks will automatically suggest it as a match.
I'll show you how:
If you're trying to match one invoice with multiple payments, you'll have to manually match each payment until the invoice open balance is zero. When you open the invoice, you can see all linked payments to it.
I'm just here if there's anything else you need help with. Take care!
