Is anybody else having issues getting the new Genisys Credit union website to sync?

It's good to see you here in the Community, croberts1.

I can help you get the Genisys Credit union account sync to QuickBooks Online.

So far you are the first report for issues connecting Genisys Credit union bank account we have seen. First, I'd like to ask if you received a specific error message when syncing the bank account.

Meanwhile, let's perform some steps to fix this for you. You can try to do a manual update of your bank account by clicking the Update button between two to three times.

After doing a manual update, we'll need to reconnect your bank account once more.

Here's how:

  1. Choose Banking on the left pane.
  2. Click the pencil icon beside the account name.
  3. Select Edit sign-in info.
  4. Enter your bank login credentials.
  5. Choose Update.

Next, let's make sure you can log into your bank's website using the URL the bank has provided for Online Banking.

Here's how to get the bank's URL:

  1. Select Banking on the left pane, then click Add account.
  2. Search the name of your financial institution.
  3. Click the link for the bank's website.

I've attached a screenshot for your visual point of reference.

Once you’ve opened the bank's website, make sure you can access the accounts. Then, confirm that you can see the account summary, account history, and account details without any errors.

I'd also suggest looking for a message, notification, or alert from your bank indicating that something isn't working as it should be.

Here's an article that may come handy: Fix online banking errors in QuickBooks Online.

That's it. I'd appreciate if you can update me on how it goes. I'll be here if there's anything else you need. Have a good day.
