Is anyone else having problems with Quick books UNDOING transaction classifications? I already went through literally every transaction, and have to do half of them all over again. Receipts deleted and everything. I'm angry

We haven’t received reports similar to this issue. But we can try some troubleshooting steps to sort this unexpected behavior.

 

Let’s start accessing your account in a private browsing window or an incognito to verify if this is caused by the system or your browser.

 

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

Please check if the transactions are back.  If they are, then your main browser may have too much historical data that slows down internal processes and causes this kind of behavior. It’s a good idea to clear the cache of your browser. You can also use other browsers as an alternative.

 

If the issue persists after these steps, I suggest contacting our Customer Care team to investigate further. They can determine the root cause of your issue. Please refer to this link to know our support hours and availability.

  1. Select Help (?) at the top.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Enter your concern in the field and hit Continue.

Opening the page in incognito mode didn't seem to bring back the old transactions. I've been fairly regularly clearing the browser history in Chrome's settings for a while now because of issues with other sites, so maybe the initial problem started before I last did that, and my uploads didn't take. I'll try one more time before calling in. Thank you for the suggestions :)
