Is anyone else having trouble with Bank sync? My banking transactions have not synced in over a week and I keep getting the same error (176) message to try again later.

Is anyone else having trouble with Bank sync? My banking transactions have not synced in over a week and I keep getting the same error (176) message to try again later.

I've checked our records, Rick40. I haven't seen any open cases similar to yours.

 

Error 176 falls into the category of a general script error. This will be reported directly to our engineers who will be troubleshooting the issue. Here's how:

  1. Click Banking, then go to the Banking page.
  2. Select Report Issue within the error message.
  3. Enter your name and email address.
  4. Click Submit.

This can take 8-10 business days or up to 21 business days. Once resolved, you’ll receive an email directly from them.

 

If you're unable to report the issue yourself, I’d suggest reaching out to our agents so they can assist you through reporting this. Here's how:

  1. Click Help inside QuickBooks Online.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter "Error 176" in the description field, then click Let's talk.
  4. Select either Start messaging or Get a callback

In the meantime, you can import the transactions manually through WebConnect or Excel CSV file.
