Is it possible to import transactions from the Venmo Credit Card? Seems like Venmo Credit Card transactions are being excluded. If not, any plans for this in the future?

When attempting to import transactions from the Venmo Credit Card, it seems like these transactions are being excluded and only the venmo balance (non-credit card part of the application) is showing up. Perhaps importing Venmo Credit Card transactions isn't available in QBSE yet. If this is the case, are there any plans to add this feature in the near future?

Allow me to share insights about importing transactions from Venmo Credit Card.

Importing bank transactions in Quickbooks Self-Employed needs online banking information.

Once you have the data or credentials, you can now import and connect your financial institution into QBSE. Make sure you have chosen the correct columns in the mapping stage.

On the Map CSV columns window, you'll have to match the QuickBooks fields (Date, Description, and Amount) then change the names of the columns in your CSV to match the titles in QuickBooks.

Once ready, import the transactions using a laptop or computer instead of the mobile app.

Here's how:

  1. Open QuickBooks Self-Employed in a web browser.
  2. Go to Profile Settings.
  3. Choose Imports.
  4. Select Import older transactions for the account you want to add transactions to.
  5. Click Browse and find the file you downloaded from your bank. It's usually in your Downloads folder.
  6. Select the file and select Open to start the import.
  7. Review the column headers and data. Make sure the Date, Description, and Amount columns on the CSV match the columns in QuickBooks.
  8. Select Continue to complete the import.

Once done, your older transactions will be in QuickBooks

After that, review what you've imported. Check for any duplicate transactions and categorize them before putting them in your accounts.
