Thank you for the reply but this is not what i am looking for. I would like to add notes to my company, not a vendor or employee or customer. I am looking to add notes for our auditors so they can see the accounting policies we have adopted and that all our users can be on the same page. It would act as a company wide help center or accounting handbook.

The ones stated by my colleagues above are the only options where you can add notes. The user types of your members is also a way to help them determine what they can and can't do within the company file.
