Wells Fargo customers are currently unable to connect accounts accounts or download transactions in QuickBooks Online. This is impacting QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Self-Employed. We are actively engaged with Wells Fargo to resolve as quickly as possible . Please see our Status Page for real time updates or to subscribe to notifications.

We are having the same issue. Our last download was 1/9/19. Can't close out January. Bank feed won't download. As an aside, ever since the last update for QB we have been getting errors regarding R&T numbers (which do not exist, nor have they ever) for our AMEX account and a closed/inactive LOC for a bank that no longer exists).
Manually downloading transactions is NOT the answer, QB. Help?
This is my 1st time trying to download wells fargo bank statements for the year 2019 and I keep getting this error message "this app does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. please install an app or, if one is already installed create an association in the defalt app settings page." Please help!!
Let's download your transactions, dbias.
Please update your QuickBooks Self-Employed app and try downloading your transactions again. If the same thing happens, please log in to your account using a computer or using your mobile browser and redo the process. If nothing works, you can consider uploading your 2019 transactions using a CSV file. Please see the instructions in this article: Add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed. See instructions for Wells Fargo as well.
You can also reach out to our Support to check your connection.
I'll be right here if you need any assistance with your bank transactions.
Thanks for getting back to us, dbias.
You can download the transaction using your laptop. Just log in to your account using this link: https://selfemployed.intuit.com/login and from there start exporting the transactions from your bank and then import them into QuickBooks using your laptop. Here's the two-step process:
Step 1: Get the date range:
Step 2: Export the transactions from your bank:
You can go directly to Step 3 in this article to Import the transactions: Add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Now that your transactions are downloaded, you can check this link to learn and get the detailed steps on how to categorize them.

Hi. When I click on the link to download quickbooks self-employed it brings me to a screen with 2 options to subscribe but I'm already subscribed to QBO and pay a fee for that. Is this an additional fee in order to download the older bank statements?
Good day, dbias.
I'm joining this thread so I can share more details about banking.
First, please be advised that QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Self-Employed are two different platforms. If you're planning to use them both, then you'll need different subscriptions.
Just to clarify, are you trying to bring in your Wells Fargo transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed? If so, you can connect your bank to QuickBooks. That way, the transactions will automatically be imported to QuickBooks Self-Employed. Please check these details: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
You can also manually upload the transaction from Wells Fargo to QuickBooks. Please check these links:
These articles will show you how to bring in bank transactions to QuickBooks Online:
I'll be here if you need anything else. Wishing you all the best!
I'm having the same problem with my client's credit card since 6/8/20. The other accounts are downloading fine. Is there a system update? Is there a way to refresh the connection?
Thanks for joining this discussion and letting us know about this, @smoneywise,
I just need a few questions about this problem, so I can look into it, and provide the most accurate information to resolve it. May I know if you're getting any error messages or codes when using the Banking page? Also, are all transactions not coming in or some does, but missing other items? Any information you can share will greatly help.
In the meantime, there are 2 ways to get your bank transactions in QuickBooks Online if they are not downloaded automatically. First, use the Update button to sync bank transactions into the system automatically.
The second option is uploading them manually using a CSV file. The following steps will guide you through the process:
If you decide to import the transactions manually, the bank might re-download the transactions that were not fetched before. To avoid any duplicates, exclude them in the For Review tab. Here's how:
Excluded transactions are then moved to the Excluded tab, and won’t be added to QuickBooks or be downloaded again. To permanently delete duplicate entries, put a check mark on them, then hit Delete.
To learn more about mapping and uploading bank entries, see the following article:
Let me know the result here. I'll be waiting for your response on this and I'm here if you need anything else. Have a great rest of the day!
