My colleague already shared their answer with regard to your concern. You can check their response through this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/install/how-can-i-get-bank-of-the-west-account-fee...

Not a duplicate post. The initial post was begging someone at QBO to work properly with Bank of the West. We've been struggling for 3 years and deserve better assistance. On the phone, we get told that AMEX accounts have priority and QBO will 'look into it' in 2 weeks. We do not have an opportunity to escalate or get to a person that can actuate real change. As a co-founder of a tech company myself, this is absolutely not the way to treat a customer or to approach supporting your product. Clearly you don't have a solution, either short term or long term that would give us any satisfaction that we will not spend 5 hours a week (a WEEK) trouble shooting an archaic banking system and the fragile QBO product. THIS ticket is about a specific error message that is NOT in your community yet recurs daily for us. What does a 4000 code mean and how/when does it get fixed?
Hello, @nancy56.
I've checked from our record and haven't found any ongoing investigation about the error message you're having. Usually, error code 4000 happens when there's a misconfigured system. To start, you can start connecting your bank in a private window. Sometimes, the regular browser tends to hold onto information, and over time it could cause problems while working with QuickBooks.
To save you time, use either of these keyboard shortcuts:
If that works fine from there, go back to your original browser and clear its cache to start fresh. Also, using other supported browsers can help us narrow the cause of this behavior.
If you're getting the same error, I encourage reaching out to our Support Team so a representative can check and look into this further.
Just in case you need additional references about banking in the future, feel free to read the articles in this link.
