Manual Instant Deposit

My QBO account is setup for instant deposit but it is not turned on for automatic deposits.

I received a payment today through QBO and I want to use instant deposit.  I went to the deposit menu under sales and the deposit is shown pending but there is no option to manually make an instant deposit.

There is an option to turn on instant deposit for certain days of the weeks, which I will do it I have to, but would prefer not to.  I have manually created an instant deposit before but I can’t find in the menus where that option is located.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

EJ

Manual Instant Deposit

You can request a manual instant deposit, EJ. I'm here to guide you.

Let's ensure to request on or before 3 PM PST to get your money or deposit on the same day. If you've requested after that time, we process the payment at the normal speed.

Here's how to request the instant deposit:

  1. Click Sales.
  2. Go to the Deposits tab.
  3. Click Get it now in the instant deposit section.
  4. Review the total and associated fees.
  5. Once you're ready, click Get it now.

You'll receive the payment within minutes. It can take up to 30 minutes depending on your bank. You'll receive an email notification once it's deposited successfully.

Manual Instant Deposit

Kristine -

Thank you for your reply.

I did follow those steps but the :”Get It Now” option wasn’t available and I am not sure why.

When I checked my QBO Account today it stated that the deposit would be in the bank tomorrow but the “Get It Now” option still wasn’t available.  I’m not sure why, because the client involved has been paying me through QBO for the past several months and the “Get It Now” option has been available.

Manual Instant Deposit

Hello there, GolfNut72.

I appreciate you for following the recommendation shared by my colleague above.

The Get it now option is available in the program. This feature helps you to apply instant deposits. Since this option is not showing in your QuickBooks Online account, we can use an incognito window. This type of window doesn’t store any cache that causes a browser to load slowly or experiencing unusual behavior.

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Shift N

If you're able to see it, go back to their regular browser and clear its cache to prevent any unexpected behavior. You can also use other compatible browsers in QBO.
