Join nowStarted quickbooks desktop 2019 at beginning of year and did all bank reconciliations, have them printed out. When I went to reconcile June, they were two old payroll transactions listed. I then searched under reports to see the previous reconciliations they are gone. I also can undue previous reconcilations either. What is going on and how do I fix it. Thanks
I appreciate your time posting here, suehdiaz.
I'll help you find out what's causing the reconciliations to be missing and how we can retrieve it. Let's start by checking into the Audit Trail Report to verify any activities.
Here's how:
If you see no changes on the Audit Log report, I'd like to verify, did you recently restored a back up copy of your company file? It's possible that a wrong or outdated back up was restored.
You'll want to restore the correct file. Here's an article for the instructions: Restore a backup of your company file.
Please let me know if this helps you find the previous reconciliations. I'll be around to help some more.
Thank you for your help. Unfortunately, I will not be able to look into this until Tuesday morning. I will reply to you then and let you know what I find out. Thank you.
