Missing bank transactions

I'm missing months of bank transactions; I've checked For Review and clicked Update.  There is a Security info needed (185) error.  I keep trying to verify my info, but nothing is happening.

Missing bank transactions

I appreciate you reaching out to the Community and performing prior steps, macrismiller.

Bank error 185 means your bank or financial institution requires you to add additional security requirements after entering your credentials. These are security questions or a one-time passcode.

First, let's make sure that your browser's pop-up blocker is disabled. After this, let's check if this is a browser-related issue. We can start by opening your account in a private window as it ignores historical data.

These are the keyboard shortcuts:

Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N
Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
Safari: Command + Shift + N

If the error is fixed after this, then the issue is likely caused by your browser. You'll want to clear your regular browser cache. If the issue persists, you may need to use another supported browser.

However, I recommend contacting your bank institution to inquire if they are currently undergoing system maintenance which may be preventing you from verifying your information.

For future reference, refer to this link for more information on what to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Let me know how it went. I'll be on the lookout in the comment section. If you have more questions on Bank transactions and any QuickBooks-related concerns, we're always available to assist you. Keep safe!
