Missing Data

I am missing 8 months of bank statement in two of my bank accounts in quickbooks.  I have done all the updates and have no error messages.  I am currently synching with my bank and last update was 10 hours ago.  but I am missing nov 2020 through june 2021.  everything before and after was received by quickbooks.  I know how to manually add statements to quickbooks but that is 8 statements for two accounts and will probably take 3 hours to complete - which is time I don't have - for something that quickbooks is suppose to do automatically.  is there any other solution besides the manual upload?

Thank you, Carol B.

Missing Data

Hello there, @throw31shoes.

I appreciate you trying some steps to get this issue sorted out. Allow me to provide clarifications about downloading bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

When a bank account is connected to QuickBooks Online, the system automatically downloads the last 90 days of transactions. This is the reason why you're not seeing the entries from November 2020 to June 2021 in QBO.

Once you need more than 90 days of transactions, you can export additional historical transactions from the bank and manually upload them into your QuickBooks company.

You can always use this guide attached for more details about manually uploading bank entries in QBO: How to upload more than 90 days of bank transactions.

To add up, you may also consider checking for a third-party application that imports historical bank transactions automatically in QuickBooks Online. You can visit our app site and look for the application that suits your business needs.

For your reference, you can check out these resources below to help you in categorizing your bank transactions and on what to do if the entries are missing:

Utilize the trial version of SlickConnect. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online, so there is no specific setting needed.
