Hello there, @Chantilly1.
You can open the file from your bank and edit or ignore those extra transactions. Then choose to retain the data that you only need.
However, if the transactions are already imported, you can simply ignore them. Let me guide you how:
- On the QuickBooks homepage, go to the Banking menu.
- Select Bank Feeds.
- Click on Bank Feeds Center.
- Look for your bank account and go to the Transaction List.
- On the Transaction List page, look for the transactions (put a check-mark).
- Go to the Action column.
- Select Ignore.
- Click on Yes to confirm the deletion of the transaction.
Once completed, the transactions will now be removed from the list.
For additional information on how to prepare a web to connect (.QBO) file from your bank's website, check out this article: Import web connect (.qbo) files.
Once imported, use this article as a guide on how to categorize and match the banking transactions: Add and match Bank Feed transactions in QuickBooks Desktop.
I'm always here to help if you have any other concerns or questions. Just tag my name in the comment section and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
