moving 2019 bank info over to quickbooks

I am new to Quickbooks. I moved my 2020 bank account info over, but wanted to move 2019 as well. It would not allow me to put two years in. Is there a way to move it over without having to type in all of those transactions?

moving 2019 bank info over to quickbooks

Good afternoon, AHCouns, and welcome to the QuickBooks family!

You've come to the right place for assistance. I'd be happy to show you how to download the 2019 bank transactions to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

This can be done with a manual upload from the bank. The best part is you can choose your desired date range to include older transactions. Here's how to get this done:

1. Sign in to your bank's website.

2. Follow your bank's instructions for how to download CSV files of your transactions to your computer.

3. Check the date range for the download.

4. Download the file.

5. Review the file format and size.

6. Complete the upload into QBO.

I've got a couple articles for you that I believe you'll find helpful:

That will do it. With this info, you'll be able to keep track of your bank transactions; both past and present. Feel free to reach back out if you happen to have any other questions.
