I'd like to shed some light regarding the information that can be imported into QuickBooks Online from QuickBooks Desktop.
There are a couple of transactions that can't be imported in QuickBooks Online since the platform works differently. With that, you may notice transactions are missing, or reports are different and don't match.
Here's a reference that explains the information that you can import and what will happen to your data (old and new) once converted from QBDT to QBO: Find out what data doesn't convert when you migrate from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.
On the other hand, you can also look for a third-party application that will help you import your financial records automatically. QuickBooks Online integrates with various apps that suit your business needs.
There are two ways to look for a third-party app. First is by going to the apps.intuit.website or navigating the Apps menu in your QBO account. Let me guide you how:
