My bank accounts will not update what would be the issue?

Thanks for reaching out to us, waterworxirrigat.

I'll share some basic troubleshooting steps so that you'll be able to get your bank transactions. We can manually update your bank account to get the latest available transactions. I'll guide you how:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Select Bank accounts.
  3. Hit the Refresh all button.

If it's still not downloading the transactions, we can go to your bank's website to check if it's experiencing technical difficulties, undergoing maintenance, or there is a server issue with the data transfer between us and your bank's website.

If it's working well, I'd recommend getting in touch with our technical supports. This way, we'll be able to pull up your account in a secure environment and conduct a series of tests to rectify the issue. Here's how to connect with us:

  1. Click Assistant from the top menu.
  2. Enter or say “Talk to a human.”
  3. Choose a way to connect with us:
    • Start a chat with a support expert.
    • Get a callback from the next available expert.

Please check out our support hours to ensure that we address your concerns on time.

Then, we can manually upload the transactions to your QBSE account. We can start by signing in to your bank’s website. After signing in, follow the instructions on how to download your transactions as a CSV file. When you're ready, you follow the steps below in importing the transactions:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Select Imports.
  3. Select the account you want to add the transactions into.
  4. Click Browse and find the file you downloaded from your bank.
  5. Select the file, then hit Open to start the import.
  6. Review the column headers and data. Make sure the Date, Description, and Amount columns on the CSV match the columns and order in QuickBooks.
  7. Hit Continue to complete the import.

When you're done. you can now review and categorize your transactions.

I also encourage you to provide me the name of your bank and the error message (if you've encountered one)? This way, I'll be able to check if there's any related reports in our records here.

Let me know how it goes in the comment section, as I want to ensure that you'll get your bank transactions.
