My bank and quickbooks will not connect. need to "complete a secure connection" but connection will not go thru.

Hello there, mary-taylor.


May I know the name of your financial institution or the error code? This will help me determine if there’s an on-going issue.


While waiting for your response, let’s update the sign-in credentials of your bank. This can help re-establish the connection.


Here’s how:

 

  1. Go to the Banking menu on the left panel to choose Banking.
  2. This will open the Bank and Credit Cards page.
  3. From there, select your bank and then hit the Pencil icon to display the Edit sign-in info menu.
  4. Then, click on it to open the Sign in to account window.
  5. Input the login details in the Banking Userid and Banking Password fields.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Once done, connect your bank again. If you continue to get the same result, I suggest performing a manual update to refresh the connection.
