My bank updated its system and now quickbooks won't update my bank account and I can't get it to link to my bank account. How do I fix this?

Please know this isn’t what I want you to experience with QuickBooks. Rest assured I’m here to help and ensure to get you back on the right track.

To get around this issue, can you share with me the name of your bank? This way, I’ll be able to check here on my end and verify if there are any reported issues. Any additional information you’d share is greatly appreciated.

In the meantime, let’s manually upload your bank transactions into your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. Let me guide you how:

1. Log in to your bank website and follow the instructions on how to download the transactions.
2. Ensure the downloaded file is in QuickBooks Online data (QBO).
3. Review the file format and file size (maximum file size is 350 KB).
4. Once done, go to the Banking or Transactions menu in your QBO account and click the Banking tab.
5. Select your preferred bank account, click the Link account drop-down menu and select Upload from file.
6. Click Browse and then select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then select Next.
7. From the QuickBooks account drop-down, select the account you want to upload the transactions into and click Next.
8. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks, then select Next.
9. Then click Let's go when ready.
