Log in to the right company, then disconnect the old checking account. Please know that QuickBooks deletes transactions that still needs to be categorized in the For review tab. I'd recommend reviewing them first before doing so.
Here's how:
After that, connect your new Wells Fargo account. If that works, go back to your main browser and start clearing its cache to refresh website preferences. It also helps you in getting rid of errors and issues when using QuickBooks moving forward.
However, if the problem persists, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care team to help you check what's causing this to happen.

Thank you! I tried your suggestions so hoping it would work. Unfortunately, it did not. I am not an IT person, but I feel the problem is that I have two businesses, with one login to Wells Fargo online, and one login to Quick Books. The new checking account shows up in the other company, but I can't get it to show up in the correct company. I tried deleting all connections and starting over, that didn't work either.
Thanks for following up with us and for following the troubleshooting steps above, @laura-lemco-iclo. I appreciate all your efforts in resolving this issue.
Let me join the discussion and add some information regarding the checking account that didn't appear at the appropriate company.
Are you using the Wells Fargo Business brokerage account? If yes, we currently have an ongoing investigation about this. Our product engineers are working as hard as possible to resolve this issue. I know syncing your account will speed up your work on categorizing the transaction.
But if you are not using a business brokerage, the checking should show to the right company. Most Financial Institution allows multiple connections. Syncing a bank account to two QBO accounts might cause some connectivity issues. Make sure to check with your FI before performing the process.
Once confirmed, I'd recommend adding it again and apply what's your FI suggestions. The new checking account should be linked to that account as long as you select the right business. It also does not matter if you use the same login credentials with your Wells Fargo and QuickBooks Online.
Moreover, I'd recommend contacting our Technical Support Team to add you to the list of affected users and investigate the issue further. Complete these steps:
Ensure to call them within business hours for a swift response. Also, once fixed, you will be notified via email.
