Re: My cell phone is paid with household monetys how to i import into my monthly expenses
Great day and thanks for posting in the Community, @celestesmith-rea.
If you're trying to record transactions that are paid from your personal account, you can enter the transactions in an Excel and save it in a CSV (comma-separated values) file format. Then, import it manually to QuickBooks Online.
1. Go to the Gear icon at the top right. 2. Under Tools, choose Import Data. 3. Select Bank Data. 4. Click Browse and choose the file to upload. Then, select Next. 5. From the QuickBooks Account drop-down list, select the appropriate bank or credit card account. You can also choose to create an account by clicking the +Add new. 6. Select the Account Type, Detail Type, and Name. 7. Click Save and Close. Then, select Next. 8. Map the statement fields according to your CSV file and select Next. 9. Check boxes of the transactions to import, then select Next. 10. Select Yes when prompted whether you want to import now.
Click Let’s go when the import is completed. You will then directed to the Downloaded Transactions window where your imported transactions are displayed on the For Review tab for you to review, add, or match.
Here's a quick guide to formatting. Read through our help article about CSV template format. It will guide you to make sure your file doesn't break any formatting restrictions.
