My customer paid by credit card but it is not in my bank account. I don't know how to receive the payment once it is paid. I do have my business bank account connected.

Let's get this sorted out, Consistent-Common-Sense.

If it's the first payment, we deposit the funds within five business days. The reason for this is because we're establishing your account. However, if it's not the first one, you'll receive the payment within two business days. Then, it will be downloaded to the connected bank account. You can also refer to this article for more information: Common questions about payments deposits in QuickBooks Online.

Once you receive the payment, you'll have to mark the invoice as paid.

When it's downloaded, you'll have to categorize the transaction.

Get back to us if you have additional questions. We'll respond as soon as we can. Take care!
