Out-of-order dates in your register can occur due to sorting preferences or accumulated cache files in your browser, Donna. Let's work together to check for applied filters and resort your transactions by date for proper chronological order.
Here’s how you can do this:
- Navigate to Transactions, then Chart of accounts.
- Select the account you want to check and click on View register.
- Hit the Clear filter hyperlink.
- Click the DATE header to sort the transactions, placing the most current dates at the top.
Alternatively, you can filter your transactions using the Funnel icon:
- Click the Funnel icon.
- Choose a Reconcile Status, Transaction Type, Payee, or select All for all fields.
- For Date, select All dates or Custom as required.
- Hit Apply.

Additionally, please review the entries for any incorrect dates and make corrections as necessary. Then, use an incognito window in your browser to access the product with a clean slate if the issue persists. Depending on your browser, you can use the following shortcuts:
- Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge: Ctrl+ Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Safari: Command + Option + P

If your bank register is in order, please return to your regular browser and clear the cache for a fresh start. Alternatively, you can switch to other supported browsers.
You can also make quick edits in the bank register and add transactions directly to an account register for convenience.
Additionally, it's important to reconcile your accounts regularly to ensure they remain accurate and up-to-date.
