my qb is not matching correctly with my bank its saying to add when its already on register

QuickBooks automatically matches your downloaded transactions. However, if it can't find a match, it creates a new record. You can review and approve it.

Follow the steps below:

1. From the left menu, select Transactions.
2. Go to the For Review tab.
3. Select the bank transaction to see more details.
4. Click the Match button.
   
5. In the From and To fields, input dates cover a range of a few days before and after the target transaction date.
6. Choose the box for the matching transaction.
7. Ensure the total aligns with the bank's downloaded transaction.
8. Hit Save.
