QuickBooks Online (QBO) downloads the latest 90 days' worth of data when it comes to transactions. You can manually upload the transactions in QBO to retrieve the previous month's transactions.
Here's how to do it:
1. Go to the Banking menu.
2. Click the blue tile for the account you want to upload the transactions into.
3. Click the Link account ▼ dropdown, then select Upload from file.
4. Click the Drag and drop or select files and choose the file you downloaded form your bank. Then click Continue.
5. In the QuickBooks account ▼ dropdown, select the account where you want to upload the transactions, then select Continue.
6. To match the columns on the file with the correct fields, follow the onscreen steps. Then click Continue.
7. Click the transactions you would like to import. Then select Continue.
8. Click Yes. Then when you accept your transactions, select Done.

Once you've finished downloading your transactions, you can now start categorizing and matching your online bank transactions to make sure that they will be posted to the correct accounts.

Another option, utilize MT Online to import your past transactions. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online, so there is no specific setting needed.
