As an initial troubleshooting step, let's perform a few manual updates to refresh the connection between your bank and QuickBooks Online.
Here's how:
- On the left navigation menu, click Banking.
- Go to Bank Feeds (depending on what you see).
- Click on Update in the upper right. QuickBooks begins updating your account.
Also, disconnecting a bank account is also helpful if QuickBooks Online won't reconnect even after clicking Update several times.
Here's how:
- From the left menu, select Banking
- Go to Banking, then select the Edit (pencil) icon on the account you want to change.
- In the Account window, check the Disconnect this account on save box.
- Select Save and Close.
