My transactions are not differentiating between business and personal currently. Is this function temporarily disabled?

We want to provide a helping hand with your question concerning the function. However, we need to know more about it to provide accurate resolution and to resolve it as quickly as possible.

 

Are you referring to the Business and Personal option being unresponsive (see screenshot below)? Or is it missing from the Transactions section? Any further details would be much appreciated.

 

 

I tried it on my test account, and I was able to categorize transactions without any issues. If you're getting unusual results, I suggest you perform some troubleshooting steps to help isolate and fix the issue.

 

Please start with signing into your account through an incognito window to access QuickBooks without cookies. Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: press Command Shift +N

If it gets you back on track, I recommend you proceed with clearing the cache. Over time a browser can accumulate too much data and can cause issues while using QuickBooks. However, if the issue persists, I suggest using other supported browsers.

I tried this and it did not help. There is no difference in the income and spending when I toggle between personal and business. I cleared cache and tried the incognito browser window. I think it's a problem with quickbooks...

I appreciate you for performing the recommended solutions provided by my colleague. Clearing the cache and using other supported browsers are the basic troubleshooting steps to fix any issues when using QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
